PUBG New State bans Third Party Programs to reduce the risk of hackers and cheaters

PUBG New State developers ban Third Party Programs to minimize the dishonest ways that several players use to rank up easily in the game. After today’s essential update, at around 7:30 PM IST, the devs posted the announcement on the official website. It stated:

We have found a steep increase in the usage of unauthorized 3rd party programs during the weekend of November 20-22. We fully acknowledge the severity of the situation and understand the frustration and disappointment that the vast majority of Survivors will be feeling due to this increase and will vigorously continue to roll out updates and introduce new and improved measures in order to enhance our anti-cheat systems.

To tackle the recent increase, the game went under maintenance on Nov. 23 i.e., today, so that the devs could apply the following:

  1. Enhanced measures to detect unauthorized 3rd party programs in real time
  2. Secured potential weaknesses that could be exploited and lead to the creation of unauthorized 3rd party programs

The developers have also increased the severity of restrictions imposed on users of such programs and will be applying additional updates next week in order to detect and restrict the usage of these programs.
